Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to serve in roles that demanded quick thinking, thorough assessment, and a commitment to protection—experiences that ultimately inspired me to launch Crimson Spade Defense.

My journey began in the US. Marine Corps, where I specialized as an infantry machine gunner and received training in ground-level intelligence gathering. Deployments to Karma, Iraq, and Helmand Province, Afghanistan, taught me the importance of identifying vulnerabilities in high-stakes environments and adapting strategies to mitigate risks effectively.

After my military service, I pursued specialized training in diplomatic worldwide protective services at the facility in Moyock, North Carolina. This led to over three years as a protective security specialist in Kabul, Afghanistan, where I focused on safeguarding personnel and assets in complex, unpredictable settings.

Upon returning home, I transitioned to law enforcement, becoming a POST-certified sheriff's deputy—a role I've held for more than three years. In addition, I've taken on responsibilities as a SWAT team leader, training officer, and certified firearms instructor, which have deepened my understanding of tactical operations and team preparedness. 

These experiences highlighted a gap: while professionals in security and defense often have access to expert evaluations, everyday homeowners rarely do. 

That's why I founded Crimson Spade Defense—to bring that same level of practical insight to residential security. We provide homeowners with a detailed, prioritized assessment of their property's strengths and weaknesses, offering actionable recommendations to enhance protection against potential threats. It's about empowering people to create safer spaces, drawing directly from the lessons I've learned along the way.
